User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsthe best authentic mexican food around. the service is very speedy. they do everything to meet your needs. me and my cowerkers went thare one day we showed up and the manager had mugs made for all of us with our names engraved on them. high class. but we were thare for lunch 3 out of five days a week so i guess we earnd those mugs but either way the place is the best.

ALL I WANT TO SAY IS I LOVE PLAZA AZTECA! I LOVE THE FOOD..BUT FOR SOME REASON I'VE HAD 3 INCIDENTS AT THIS PARTICULAR RESTAURANT WHERE THE MANAGER AND HIS STAFF WAS VERY RUDE TO ME AND MY LIL 5 YEAR OLD SON. I HAD ORDERD A NACHOS SUPREME WITH THE CHEESE SAUCE ON THE SIDE AND THEY BROUGHT IT OUT WITH IT ON THE NACHOS. I WAS TAKIN IT HOME SO I DIDNT WANT IT TO GET SOGGY. THE MANAGER TOOK IT FROM ME AND THREW IT IN THE TRASH WITH AN ATTITUDE AND SAID HE WOULD NEVER DO IT FOR ME AGAIN. I COULDNT BELIEVE HOW UNPROFESSIONAL HE WAS. I VOWED TO NEVER IT EAT AT THAT ONE AGAIN. THE ONE BY AMC 24 IS SO MUCH BETTER AND RECOMMEND THAT ONE TO EVERYONE IF YOU WANT EXCELLENT SERVICE AND FRIENDLY STAFF AND OF COURSE YUMMY MEXICAN FOOD! I LIVE CLOSER TO THE ONE ON DENBIGH AND NOW I'LL NEVER GO THERE B/C OF THE MANAGER BEING SO UNFRIENDLY AND RUDE TO ME. I REALLY COULDNT BELIEVE IT, ESPECAILLY SINCE IM IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I DO THIS FOR A LIVING! I REALLY THINK THERE IS SOME PREJUDICE THERE B/C I SEE THEY TREAT MINORITIES (BLACK) A LITTLE DIFFERENT. I THINK THATS REALLY SAD!! OH WELL.....NEVER AGAIN!

Of course they treat Black people better. Black people yell about calling the NNACP they will stand in the restaurant and yell to the other customers as to how their feelings have been trumped upon. Not that black people give better tips, treat the staff with respect, or go to the restaurant frequently.They grovel beneath them on them and keep it moving. Much to the dismay of the the other people eating there who would not think to be disrespectful in public.Go to any restaurant watch it. Blacks get treated with kid gloves. Every waitress knows it. You work your butt off and because one fork is out of place it is because you are a raciest. You hold your breath and hope they dont sit at your table because no matter how demanding they are they don't leave a tip, they don't even think to say thank you It's your job to keep it moving.
