User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsWhat is really goin on here.....: Used to visit with friends quite often during the week for happy hour, 1/2 off Tuesdays, and any other random day after work....the service was poor and the food and drink ranked about the same. No one was ever at the door to greet us and on one occassion I actually stood waiting while employees looked at me like I had two heads! Happy Hour isn't all that it's cracked up to be, but what happy hour in Richmond really is? Murky appletini's and watered down cape cod's were disappointing. The only reason I continued to track back was for the 1/2 off Tues - what a deal! Or at least I thought....the pizzas are okay, but nothing I couldn't do at home, and I loved the grilled ceasar...so what killed it? On my last and final visit, I was presented with a plate of spoiled calamari!!! Yuck!!! I could smell it coming....why couldn't the cook or waitress??? This is definitely not what I expected from the Hardshell/Europa/The Hill, etc chain. I hope things have turned around in there! Maybe this place is better suited for the drinking crowd and late nights...but I wouldn't know. I had several failed attempts at making it in the door. One night it was just too crowded and on another I was just smacked in the face with all the cigarette smoke flowing through the place....but I'll bet anything that some good times were being had in there. Lucky Lounge is truly a gamble on any night. I'm surprised none of the local paper reviews picked up on the vast inconsistencies.......Good Luck and Party on.

Really slow service.: They have 1/2 price food and beer on Tuesday nights, but we waited almost an hour to get some appetizers. It wasn't even that busy other than at the bar and the food was only so-so.
