Best steak I've had.: Started off with the spinach/artichoke dip appetizer. A nice change of pace from potato skins, cheese sticks and such. Got the filet, making me drool just thinkin about it. The wine I ordered, must have been from the end of the barrel and had a residue. The manager gave the wine for free, and I realize it was not thier fault. It's a little pricey when you compare to Denny's and such, but taste the food and you'll know why.
Drafs: For my birthday my son's took me out to dinner the minor detail was I paid for it but they wanted me to go. All in all Claim Jumper is a nice place I ordered the Calamari Dinner and it was soft and very good as were all meals. But I had some problems where I was seated first I felt a cold rush of air looked up and spotted a diffuser in the ceiling and proceeded to move 3 additional times yet no matter where I move there was a constant cold draft hitting me and my table while the food was good in 15 minutes I stopped eating my food had grown cold. Within 1/2 hour we were done and out of there. Since I do know a bit about architecture I scoped out the place on the way to the rest room and exiting and you know what the ceiling diffusers were placed in such a way that the each table in the place is hit by a small but constant blast of cold air at about 56 degrees that cools the food no matter how good and creates a good table turn over rate. So more or less I'll never eat there again and if you do yourself look up to the vents for air note where they are at try and escape the drafts because you'll be out in 30 minutes.
Pre-funkadelic!: This place is the pits for dinner--horrible service, and the dinner entrees aren't great. What keeps us coming back though, are the awesome apps and mind-blowingly extensive drinks menu. Plus, you get a lot for your money bc the food portions are HUGE. A great place to go with friends and to gear up for a night on the town! Just be sure to sit in the bar area.

So you want us to know you have a background in Architecture? If you're going to complain find something valid to complain about. I know people like you and I no longer go out to eat with them.
