Gouged Big Time
My car had supposedly 2 sensors that needed to be replaced, they charged me over $500. I asked what their markup on parts was they said 25%, when I confronted them and told them their markup was 50% they said they had to get parts from someone else and that's why it cost more. Remarkably enough their markup was exactly 50% from the original place they said they were going to get the parts. Also they charged me 1.5 hours labor but were finished in less than an hour. Steer clear of this place or you will get burned like I did.

If you know anything about cars or how technicians get paid for what they do, you would understand that 1.5 hrs. labor is very fair. I am a tech. that has been in the field for 20 plus years and know through expierience that a good tech can only make a living by getting the job done quicker than the labor guide states. We dont get paid if we go over that time. If a entry level tech worked on your car and took 1.5 hrs. to do the job, would you be ok with that? Just because you can do the job quicker than a lesser qualified tech, should you get paid less? I think not. A qualified tech gets paid for his or her experience. I see customers complain about this all the time, but the same customer complains when their cars are not fixed right the first time and they have to return. think about it before you bash a shop. jaw719@hotmail.com
