I had gone in to the Gentile dealership through the internet and had worked with them. My car purchase was fast easy and the best part i did not have to deal with the Sales people. I would suggest Gentile Automotive Internet department for all of your car buying needs. I did it and I am glad i did.
Great service!: I bought a car from Gentile Hyundai last year and was happy with the salesperson and the excellent service I have received since that point. Above and beyond what a dealership needs to do!
Mixed Reviews: I bought a Nissan from the Nissan-Hyundai dealership and got an excellent deal with quick and easy service.
My friend purchased a Toyota from the Toyata-Honda dealership and the service has not been that great. He's dealing with a missing key situation and they have not been very helpful. Whether they lost the key or he lost the key, who cares?! He spent $24,000 on a car and they want to put the screws to him for another $400. The price of the keys seem to be in constant flux and everytime he goes in for this fairly easy service, they stick a sales person on him. This last time, they quoted him for a set, but came out with just the remote pad and then asked for more money for the programmed keys.
I had been to this same dealership to discuss a lease for a Honda Accord before purchasing my Nissan. It was a nationally advertised special that was essentially a no brainer on my side or theirs, yet they appeared to be using the two headed monster approach to car sales, where everytime anything close to a deal was reached, the salesman would run off and come back with a management goon. It made me uncomfortable and I walked out.
When I purchased the Nissan, I went throught the internet sales person. Her name is Linda. She was honest and straightforward. No goofing around.
Avoid the regular sales people and use the internet to get the best deal. Services provided through Edmunds or Yahoo! Autos are excellent. Very little negotiation is needed since the dealerships are pitted directly against each other. Have your financing and warranty arrangments before you go to close the deal. Finance people are usually the deal-breakers.
The Gentile Toyota-Honda place makes me uneasy.
If you do buy from them, keep track of your keys. Make sure all are in hand when you walk away.
The Gentile Nissan-Hyundai people have been courteous and easy to work with.
