Walser's "low" no-haggle price is far from low. They are simply swindling innocent people who do not want to go through the trouble of bargaining. Even without bargaining, I got a price $800 (actually $ 793) lower than theirs on a Honda Civic. All I had to do was spend an hour googling dealers' phone numbers on the net and calling them. Saving 800 bucks in 1 hour even without having to go through the hassle of bargaining is NOT bad, is it?
The funny thing is that the Walser sales rep. actually laughed when I told her the price I was getting from other dealers and asked her to beat that if she could. "That's not even possible", she said sarcastically... and I had the quotes right in front of me.
Walser also misrepresents your savings with their free oil change for life offer. That free oil change is contingent on your getting a service from them and from the reviews I read, they charge you exorbitantly on that and you end up paying more even with the free oil change.
I eventually went with Hopkins Honda and my sales rep was Paul Anderson. I am pretty satisfied with my experience and am glad that I did not go with Walser. Feel free to contact me if you have further questions. I'm not comfortable writing my email address here but you can find me on myspace - my name is Rajneet.
Good, helpful sales staff: I worked with Brian Kime and he worked his tail off to help me find the right vehicle within my budget. Sister dealer to B'ville Lincoln/Mercury next door.
