The TV on the back of the seat is not viewable if you are an older person. I have to wear bi-focals and the only way I could see the screen was by tilting my head way back and that quickly gave me a headache. It is now $8.00 to watch the TV/Movies.
do not trust Frontier with your travel plans: We planned our wedding in Puerto Vallarta months in advance, we booked our flights on Frontier for a few reasons. One, was the fact that they offered direct flights from Denver, another reason was that we were traveling with a few children and the availability of TVs for them would make travel much easier for everyone.
We used Frontier on our last trip to PV, as well as to Las Vegas and enjoyed the service. We assumed that after everything was booked and paid for, it would be smooth sailing. Boy were we wrong.
A friend of ours wanted to be on the same flight, as there were already about 20 of us booked all together. She couldn't find the flight listed, and when she enquired about said flight, she learned that it had been cancelled. That was news to us, my fiance called Frontier to find out what had happened and was not given an explanation as to why. Instead she was cheerfully told that they had booked us on a Delta flight ON DIFFERENT DAYS! Why were we not notified or even asked if that would be OK? "We have a team that was to notify you 30 days prior to you're travel date." was their reply.
Well that is super, not only did they change our dates without checking with us first, they also had us split on different flights, including a few of the children. Not to mention that we had booked a non-stop and they now had us sitting in LAX for a few hours, changing our total travel time from about 4 hours, to around 9-10, not enjoyable when traveling with kids (two of which are under 4 months old)
On top of that, we were told that the flights that they had switched us to were a big upgrade, "these tickets are going for around $1,000 each" we were told. Not so, we checked online and found that they were actually cheaper than what we had paid.
These problems, not to mention their unwillingness to make it right, is why they have lost not only my business for life, but those who were traveling with us. I hope that after reading this they will also lose yours.
How much are your customers worth Frontier?
Frontier is a great Airline: Frontier Airlines does a great job of getting people from point A to point B with little if any problems. The planes are clean, the service is good, and the $5 charge for Direct TV service is very reasonable. Especially for those who have kids. Typically you get a full can of a drink not the 1/2 can other airlines offer. Plus at just 15000 miles you are entitled to a free round trip within the US as well as upgrade to next level in their Rewards program.
Order their Frontier Mastercard and pay just $49 annual fee in first year. That entitles you to a free round trip ticket (15000 miles) just for getting the card. Worth every penny in today's world of $400 airline fares.
I prefer Frontier over all airlines and specifically lok to fly them each and every time I can.
