whoever wrote the december review is an idiot, those two hard working people closed in may 2006, we all all miss them like crazy. whoever wrote the last "review" either has no clue or is a vindictive moron. Those are the hardest working people we know ..and their restaurant doesnt have a womens restroom but a "single" restroom. So we are thinking who ever wrote this idiotic review is either jealous or illiterateor just bad as in bad element. they are real good down to earth people with fabulous food.
The best that I have ever eaten in Florida: its a great...no i mean a fabulous little restaurant in a very uncommon place 20 miles north of gainesville. The Owners are attentive, accessible, and the food is absolutely delicious.
they have a patio bar called the "Bad Bass" it is just a great spot !!!
We had a Giant Calzone and 10- Layer Lasagna which was really 15 layer lasagna with homemade garlic rolls.
I could go on & on.... you have to go see for yourselves.
My family loved it.....
fantastic little trattoria: we had no idea that this part of florida had any type of decent food.
i mean gainesville is certainly not a hub of fine cuisine
But this place is special, unique, the food was great, the owners are accomodating, the menu was easy, simple, and good
We had the homemade sangria, a jumbo pizza (and I mean Jumbo) called a hurricane it had 9 toppings on the pizza we ate two slices between us and had to take the rest home...they do not skimp on quality, thats for sure
We will be back
The patio bar is unique and promotes a nice easy feeling.
Just a really nice little place
in a very uncommon spot!
