Visited this restaurant on July 29th around 4:15pm, was immediately told after being seated that our server was running late. Then another person appeared and offered to take our drink order. This person also informed us that our server was running late for work. But clearly this person was in front of me but apparently incapable of taking an order.
I ordered a Lemon Drop Martini, server asked what type of vodka, shortly there after my drink arrived, first thing I noticed was the glass wasn't a martini glass, but instead a stemless water glass. Secondly martini gave the appearance of lemonade and to my suspicions, this is exactly what it was, vodka mixed with Minute Maid lemonade.
I explained I didn't want the drink and it was not up to my expectations. The server replied "well its supposed to be strong" clearly he had no clue about martinis nor how they are supposed to be served.
FYI: if you want a properly made lemon martini check out Apres Diem, that's where I went upon leaving Shout.
Instead of Shout perhaps they should rename the restaurant "Scream"
If I could rate this "restaurant' with no stars I would... Horrible experience
FREE!!!! FREE!!!! free!! That is always a plus. The drinks were good and the music was straight too. I had a ball!
My husband an I visited this restaurant for a birthday party and was very surprised at the poor service and food. To speak of the service, we were with a large group of more than 40 people so you would think that the manager would designate a suitable number of staff to assist with our service, but he didn't . We were assigned one waiter and one waitress to assist our group for three tables consisting of about 15 people each. At my table we ordered sushi as an appetizer and after thirty minutes of waiting we finally inquired about our order only to find out...without apology...that they had given it to another table then fifteen minutes later we were given our appetizer, by then it was time to order our main entree. We ordered crab cakes that were bitter and without flavor. Not fresh at all; multiple people coplained about their food, it was awful. I know how crab cakes are supposed to tase after being exposed to them from the Bay area in Baltimore, Maryland, and Shout needs to take notes from them.
We had to continually ask for refills on our beverages. The entire night the waiter kept reaching over our food, one time rubbing his sleeve in our plate, which I find very rude and poor etiquette. The manager came out to ask about our experience and when we elaborated on our discontent he was very short and rude and not accomodating at all.
After dinner we went upstairs for the second part of the night to dance and was there 10-15 minutes when a fight broke out on the dance floor. The security was nowhere to be found for a least 3-5 minutes the poor guy took a beating on the dance floor and no one broke it up. When security finally showed up they escorted both people out of the building and the guy doing all of the fighting got in his car and drove off. The poor and slow response from security made us feel unsafe, as a result we ended up leaving and going to another spot.
The entire "Shout" experience left me with nothing to Shout about. There are too many other nice places in the Metro Atlanta area to patronize then to waste your time here.

Should have went to popeyes'! Bad Service (Shout), Worse Customers (you and your group)--you're party should have left after the first fifteen minutes if you felt it was terrible.
First of all as I stated I was there for a birthday party as a guest, so it was not MY group. The host paid alot of money to have a nice affair for which this eatery did NOT deliver!! Secondly, how am I a "worse customer" because I demand that a patron have "good", not even EXTRAordinary, customer service to at least remember what the customer ordered and not take more time to prepare the appetizer than it takes to prepare/deliver the entree. I won't be going back. I will leave greasy Popeyes for you it's probably more your speed.
Still terrible from what I hear.
