User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThey really know how to make a great cup of coffee. Try their iced cafe con leche. My only peeve is that I don't get much of a "Cuban" atmosphere at this place. Most of their food items are not Cuban and the decor doesn't really say "Havana" to me.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe best coffee in San Francisco: I read an article in the Chronicle about the resturant recently and stopped by to try their coffee and food. The coffee is off the charts and I learned that the Pat Ungerman of Hayes Street Grill rated it the best in the city. I loved the Cafe con Lieche and the food was good and priced well. They have a very nice selection of wine and I had a great pinot with my lunch.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsgreat variation the coffee house scene: The cafe' has an artsy feel, and it's clear that the owners put a lot of thought into the design and theme. The coffee is very good - I recommend the cafe con leche - and I enjoyed the Cuban ham sandwhich I had. The food offerings are limited, but it's actually nice not to be overwhelmed with options. The store also sells Cafe Cubano coffee cups that make a great gift.
