Terrible experience: I recently had a late dinner here with friends last Friday. Let's just say the blonde waitress who was serving us didn't seem interested in working for a tip. I don't know what her excuse is, but the place was only 10% full, so they weren't even busy. First of all, she didn't greet us and didn't apologize for making us wait 15 minutes before getting our orders. Secondly, she didn't bring us enough utensils. To top it off, the food came barely warm. It was unappetizing. I probably would never go back there.
4/3/08 Service was fine food was terrible. Local Field Green Salad with cherry tomatoes. For $7.00 that is about all you get green salad and the smallest tomatoes I have ever seen. Very boring, no feta, no radish, no bellpepper nothing in this salad. What a rip off. Dinner Grilled Pork Chop no this was not available but a flatten out breaded and fried pork was in it's place. It's garnish or side dish butter lettuce which was in the sauce of the pork. I hate fried food at a high end restaurant especially for my main meal. Butter lettuce is not a side dish, way cheap people. I will never go back, very bad food. I can eat better at Carpo's in Santa Cruz where a $12.00 special of Chilean Seabass served with a light sauce, fresh steamed local vegetables and some twisted pasta served family style. That's good food for your money!!
Modern atmosphere, good food: We enjoyed, the modern atmosphere, appropriate background jazz music and the menu had a nice variety and selection. Food was good, service as well.
