This is a great place for business dinners, dates, and special occassions. The menu is printed daily to ensure the freshest selection. If you have the option of the lobster bisque, don't miss out, it's the Best Lobster Bisque in the city.
Had a great atmosphere!!: I was very pleased with the service. Atmosphere was wonderful. Food was really good. My only complaint is that I had to leave.
Wait, is it still swimming?: As I was speeding down Peachtree a few months ago, I spied, from the corner of my eye, a familiar marquis. Oceanaire was emblazened on the front of the building... "Could this be a sister restaurant to the one I love so much in Minneapolis", I wondered? I found out that it was. Oceanaire is the epitome of fresh seafood. Better than The Atlanta Fish Market, better than Blue Pointe, Oceanaire boasts the freshest seafood in town. Usually your lunch or dinner was harvested from the water hours ago, not days. It is the perfect place to impress business clients and/or associates as-well-as have a romantic dinner (try one of the more secluded, semi circular banquettes in the back). The service is impeccable and the staff quite knowledgeable. The wine and spirit selection is extensive and the ambience reminds one of being inside a softly glowing blue oyster or dining room of a luxury ocean liner. Try the seafood tower appetizer, you won't be disappointed. I've been lucky enough to have dined at 5 of their locations (Minneapolis, San Diego, Seattle, Washington DC and Atlanta) and while they all subscribe to the same tenets of freshness and service, the Atlanta location is the best (IMHO). Everyone that has accompanied me to the restaurant has been rather impressed with Oceanaire so if you're looking for excellent food and service or to score some brownie points, this is your spot.
