I first went to see Kevin Wong, the chiropractor, for my tension headache as I had just stopped taking a medication for the last 10 yrs.. I thought it was a god-sent remedy as I wanted none of any more chemicals in my body. In retrospect, I was better off just taking some Tylenols and it would have been more than efficient.

During my first visit, Mr. Wong told me that it would take him a couple of visits to let me know the treatment plan. My second visit I was told that my treatment would be an "aggressive" approach. My neck and shoulders were cracked each time I came. My visit was two to three times a week, which I thought was rather more frequent than necessary. I finally asked Mr. Wong what was the treatment plan as far as the duration was concerned? He hesitantly, after some prodding, responded a month time ( at that time, I had already seen Mr. Wong for a month.) My neck and shoulders started to become very sore and one day after lifting a dumb bell of only three lbs., I injured the ligament in one of my shoulders.
I called Mr. Wong's office to let him know what was going on and subsequently I told him I did not want any more cracking done. He told me that I should come in for an evaluation which I did, but no evaluation was done. Mr. Wong simply told me to come back for another visit within that week so he could loosen the tightness in one of the muscles
in my neck.
I was starting to think what could he do any more than what had already been done to me? I was miserable due to all the soreness I felt every moment from the time I woke up to the time I went to bed. My right shoulder was injured so I could not even do anything for fear I would damage it further. The only time I felt normal or o.k. was when I put ice all over my neck and shoulders so I could not feel the pain. I was doing this two times a day for one to two hours everyday up until now.
I finally when to see my doctor and found out that my neck and shoulder tendons were all inflamed because they were all over-worked! The doctor prescribed anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxant and now after a month and a half I am still in pain and can't do anything which requires too much muscle use. Next week, I' m scheduled to go to a physical therapist.
I called Mr. Wong to let him know what the doctor had told me and that I was not coming in any more. He offered to treat my inflammation with laser light but I could not accept as I no longer trusted him.

What started out as a simple headache now turns into a misery for me.

I am sure Mr. Wong with all his credentials is a very cable chiropractor as he even teaches to other colleagues. What I fail to understand is why
I am in this state and If I had not told him to stop, where would I be today and how much worse would it get? I begin to wonder if there are any ethics at all?
If you have problem with neck and shoulders, you should reconsider coming to this office. You may end up with some more serious problems
than what you started out with.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Wong for almost a year. He has cured many ailments for each of us. Just recently, my son broke his ankle and after the cast came off, he could not walk without limping. Dr. Wong used heat therapy, stimulated the nerves with and adjusted his legs, feet and ankles. This treatment was the beginning of my son being able to walk (without the limp) and within a week run again. Dr. Wong has worked on a bone spur in my toe, my shoulder. my other child's back and my husband's neck and back. All of us are doing well- we appreciate his dedication and incredible skill as a chiropractor.

I have been under the care of Dr.Wong since September 2006. I orginaly went to Dr.Wong because of back and hip pain. Since then my health,body, and mental well being have much improved. I continue to see Dr.Wong on an on going basis. A pair of custom made orthotics was also recommended. Wow! what a difference that made. My feet, calfs, and legs over all feel much better. I can stand and walk for much longer periods of time now without feeling pain. Dr.Wong is a great chiropractor, he has a very inviting and comfortable office with a touch of home. The atmosphere is professional and welcoming. His staff is very professional and friendly. I would recommend Dr.Wong to anyone. Thank you Dr.Wong, not for just being a good chiropractor but also someone who cares.
