We have been a client of Active IT Design for several years now. Most impressive is their attention to detail and knowledge of Microsoft Small Business Server, which runs our entire network. Their ability to incorporate remote access to files and email when out of the office has been essential to our business. We frequently have multiple users who travel and need access from remote locations. Active IT has built our network system to accommodate that request and it has been very reliable!
I would strongly recommend Active IT Design to any potentially new client!
We have been a client of Active IT Design, LLC for several years. We were initially very impressed with their ability to accommodate our network migration from Novell NetWare and GroupWise to Microsoft Windows Small Business Server. Other consulting companies had been very uncertain on the best method to perform the migration. Active IT Design handled our migration with extreme ease and accommodated our time frame with no interruption to our daily productivity. Active IT Design has provided our monthly maintenance with prompt professionalism as well as any other request we may have, providing excellent customer service and support. Their proactive support is greatly appreciated and it is nice to have them keeping us up to date and problem free.
In 2003, I was providing custom reporting services for my company, whose network infrastructure was at its breaking point. At that time, the network supported 30 workstations and 2 servers, all of which were built in-house, with no set standards. Daily network interruptions were common, and the network file store was incapable of supporting the growing use of electronic documents. A series of events left me as the person responsible for the network. I was in a real jam, and needed guidance in providing my company with a functional network. Thatâs when I called Active IT Design. Active IT met with our management team, listened to our needs, and crafted a new network topology based upon Microsoft Small Business Server. In the end, Active IT Design had migrated all network resources from Novell to Microsoft Small Business Server, installed 40 new standardized workstations, and upgraded our office suite of tools to Microsoft Office XP.
Active IT Design has now provided network administration services to my company for the past 6 years. Network functionality has been so free of incidents, that employees and customers now consider it as a given fact of doing business. Only a few management personnel are aware that Active IT Design is actively managing the network. In my opinion, a sign of a good network administrator is one that the network users donât even know exists.
