    o.k. which do I review? the music venue or the restaurant?

    1. music. one of the best places in san diego to see a band. if they could eliminate all the surcharges and junk they add to each ticket, it could be the best. close up opportunities to see amazing bands. I've been to 40+ shows. 5 stars for music.

    2. food. one of their deals is that if you have dinner in the restaurant prior to the show, you get preferred entrance into the show. we've participated in this opportunity 3 times and all 3 times we felt like we would have rather just given them the money without getting the crummy food. my steak was crazy bad. the lowest quality beef(?). go have dinner at one of the many other restaurants in the area and come back for the show. 1 star for food.

    I went here in october for an Apocalyptica concert, and I LOVED IT. i origanlly wanted a balcony seat, but they were sold out, then i got there and realized that the STANDING ROOM IS BEST for the stage is around 50 feet away from you.

    it was amazing to be so close to the band and im now obsessed with going to HOB's for concerts.
