I was very happy after my great day at Glamour.
I am Disc Jocky, and I was booked for Broadcasting jobs within 2 months thats perfect!
I am happy working with my Agent.
Glamour Model has been my agent for years and I cannot say enough great things about them. I would like to say that I make a good living in this business - I am vested, have my pension growing and feel very lucky to have Glamour in my corner. Oh - and that photographer they use is one of the best in business and his photography work is cheap compared to some of the other photographers out there. I booked 3 jobs within 6 months of getting my photography done with them.
Let's be clear about this - Glamour is a legitimate agency and run well by professionals. I also work with other two agencies in Chicago; however, I rather work with Glamour when they have work for me.
I have been there and paid them. I paid about 80 first time (to be honest, cant remember for what) and a second time 275 for the photo shoot. The deal was that they "pay" for the picture editing and i pay for the photo shoot and some cards that will be sent to different companies. They said they will call me in about 2 mo's so i can get my pics but they didn't. They called in about 7 mo's that my pics are ready to be picked up. I really didn't expect to hear from them again. I went there, and got my cards and a list of about 56 companies to send them to along with a brief resume. I made the letters to all those companies and realized that if any should contact me how do they know that i work with Glamour... since they don't have their info. I dont know what to believe now...are they serious since they edited my pics (their part of the deal while not being obligated since i didn't pay for that) or are they a scam since they let me go by not being able to be traced back to them?? Does anyone know how these things go? Does anybody have any other good modeling companies in Chicago (already have the pics now)?
