User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThis place is bad. I expected a lot more from a cigar bar....like actually having cigars! I went to this place looking for a great atmosphere to smoke some stogies to get a bachelor party started but when we finally found the place (you have to walk down a small walkway that makes you think someone is around the corner waiting to stab you) the bartender casually informed us they didnât have any tobacco products. Keep in mind now, if you read the reviews and website, this is one of their selling points. We quickly left and went to Swig! Itâs more club atmosphere but at least they have cigars and great live music. So if you want to go to a cigar bar without cigars go here!
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThis was the first and last time I go to this bar. I found it to be extremely pretentious. The bartender was RUDE and homophobic. She literally refused to serve my friend and I. After letting friends know of my experience, they told me this person had refused to serve them at various visits. Overall, I would not frequent this hole in the ground (literally). There are better, more sophisticated, and welcoming bars in San Antonio. I assume this bar just took a turn for the worse. Not the place to "be seen."

I hate to tell anyone about Club Cohiba because I don't want the nature of this establishment to change. My favorite bar in SA, the space oozes ambiance. The comfy chairs and sofas invite you in, and the dozens of antique mirrors reflect the relaxed, laid-back mood of the place. The drinks are a little pricey, but the experience is totally worth it. Please don't tell anyone else - it might get crowded!

"The space oozes ambiance" You must clearly have a financial interest in this dump because the only thing it oozes is the horrible smell of marbolo lights!

"hole in the ground (literally)" That's so true, I'm 6'4' and I could just about stand up with my hair combing through the brick door ways! The last time I go near this bar also!
