Dr. Craven pushes immunizations more than Dr. Franz's philosophy. We got a lecture from the doc about 15 minutes late for our appointment, saying we were lucky she chose to see us (WE WERE 15 min EARLY as verified by our checkout sheets when we left). The font office (especially the office manager (Luann) and the lady who you go to to check out and schedule future appoints (Melanie) are rude, almost hostile. At a prior appointment I had my twin babies there and needed to feed them after the appointment for started (of course they were fussy). A nurse asked, "can I please feed one!" Of course I said yes and she was very loving to our little guy. At today's appointment I got to here about the office's frustration and how a nurse HAD to feed my baby, like we were such an inconvenience. On another note, my 2&3 year old had a simple shot visit today, only took and hour and a half. Seriously... that is way to long to expect kids that age to sit (with good attitudes) waiting to have something done they dread - getting shots. We've been at the Franz center for 6 months, today was our last visit. We chose the Franz Center because of their philosophy of care, but their execution is terrible. There are two doctors there that are excellent (Dr. Diana Smith & Dr. Debi Wills). I would follow them elsewhere if they chose to leave the center, but unfortunately it's not worth the rest of the experience.
