User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsQuirky place for Thai/Laotian food: This place is run by a very sweet eccentric woman who operates a simple but yummy limited item buffet style Thai-Laotian restaurant. The food is pretty simple and usually includes some pad Thai, some chicken satay, and a few other dishes cooked by her. When you walk in she will usually make more dishes and bring these to your table. Not too much selection (I don't remember curry's being served) but I think the cost - including soda was $5.00 for lunch and I think $6.00 for dinner -- per person (perhaps it has gone up). You have to be flexible at this place since you get what she makes, but with these prices it is worth it. The atmosphere is truly quirky. The water buffalo photographs are of those from her family's place back home. On a not so busy night she sat with us and told some wonderful stories. It is like having dinner at a friend's house.

This woman has moved on. The place is a dive. I am sad to say, that I would not suggest it to anyone under its new set up.
