Parton, Anna APN, FNP-C - Aubrey Family Medicine

Okay, clearly I'm in the minority here, and my personal opinion of Ms. Parton is going to make a lot of people angry, but here goes. I must admit, she is fairly knowledgable in her field, but her bedside manner stinks. She is sarcastic and unpleasantly blunt most of the time, and talks down to my son as though he were three years old instead of twelve. Once, she made an insensitive remark about his weight and almost had him in tears (since then, I have found a wonderful pediatrician for my children.) I absolutely cannot stand this woman, and I'm guessing that most of these reviews were written either by personal friends or relatives of hers, because every single person I've talked to feels the same way I do about her. If you want top-notch medical care for your family, please visit Cross Timbers Medicine in Cross Roads. Dr. Jeremy Baker is a fantastic pediatrician, and Dr. Michael Auvenshine specializes in family practice and sports medicine. Both these gentlemen are wonderful human beings, as well as excellent physicians.

And, how much were you paid to write up this smear job on a really caring, committed NP? In all of my business dealings with Anna, the only patients I have ever heard her speak sternly to were drug seekers and non-compliant whiners. If you do not approve of her attitude, it's just a matter of time before you find something wrong with every provider who doesn't tell you what you want to hear.

Look, smartass.....no one is paying me a damn thing to post my opinion. I might ask you the same thing: who is paying you to jump to Anna's defense? I resent your insinuations that I am "seeking drugs" and whining for no reason. There is no place in the medical profession for rude, nasty people, and that's all there is to it. In fact, I can not recall ever having a more unpleasant experience at a doctor's office until I met Anna Parton. The woman is, in plain English, a witch, and should not be allowed to run a business. By the way, since you seem to know so much about her, where the hell is she these days?? It looks as though she just disappeared, along with everyone's medical files, and did not have the courtesy to notify her patients that she was leaving. She has sent several people duplicate bills (which have already been paid), and no one can reach her to resolve these issues because she refuses to return messages! You call that caring and committed?? She even fired her own daughter, for God's sake! That's right.....I heard all about it. I suggest you mind your own beeswax before you start attacking me. I am not the only one who dislikes Anna Parton. In fact, a neighbor of mine is going to file a complaint with the medical board. P.S. Your name wouldn't happen to be Bob, would it??

My family and I have seen Anna and her staff for colds, injuries, a minor concussion, and in-office surgery, and have always been more than pleased with the service, professionalism, and courtesy we've received.

Appointments have always been kept on time, the entire staff seems genuinely concerned that our visits are as comfortable and efficient as possible. Specifically, the thing that always impresses me the most is the way that Anna talks with my first-grade son like the patient that he is instead of talking over his head to me, like so many other doctors have in the past.

I can see no reason to see anyone else for routine medical needs.

I'm very pleased with the service I received here. They give you the attention and care you'd expect from a small town. Very FRIENDLY. What a change from the previous owners!
