NOT real Chicago pizza... but decent food: If you are from Chicago and you were looking for a taste of home, you will be truly disappointed by the pizza. It is not bad pizza but it isn't true Chicago deep dish. It is a thick crust pizza... nothing more. Youâd understand if you had the real stuff.
Their salads are real good - love their blue cheese dressing (The Wedge salad is great). Pasta is over cooked and mushy. A decent meatball sandwich as well as the beef dip sandwich. Decent micro brewed beers - they don't have that funky after-taste like some microbrews.
Service can be hit or miss -- this location (even when it was Gordon Birsch) has a hard time finding good help. Order gets messed up and they don't pay enough attention once they serve the food. On many occasions I wanted another beer and they didn't return until I was done with the meal. I guess their loss in profits!
Overall - good place to bring the family for an ok meal.
