Love (cut rolls) California & Spicy Tuna Rolls. Shrimp Tempura Dinner is fabulous too! Staff is excellent, the place is clean and prices are average.
AWESOME: LOVE THE CALI ROLLS AND THE SPICY TUNA! WE EAT THERE 2 TIMES A WEEK! LOVE IT!
For Some Pretty Good Sushi: I have tried this place 2 times. Both times, I went on a weekday so it wasn't crowded at all. The food (The sushi) is pretty good, but not the top. I had a rainbow roll, which is quite large. All was good, except one time I hit a piece of hardish tasting sushi. In my humble opinion, sushi should not be hard. I think it was yellowtail, but I won't swear to it. I also tried their teriyaki salmon and shrimp tempura plate. I advise, do NOT get the salmon teriyaki. VERY tough, seemed like out of a frozen slab, not fresh, and extremely tough. Very inedible. Stick to the sushi. The shrimp tempura was good though, and it comes with a salad, but the pieces are not broken up well. You can ask for a fork, but I prefer chopsticks and it was very hard to pick up some of the salad. It also comes with a sweet cucumber salad. A little droopy for me. All in all, I WON'T order that again. I was impressed though with most of the sushi, it is prepared right at the bar in front of you. Tables, and of course, the sushi bar. I never drink anything but water, so, I can't comment on the drinks. If Uozumi's, (formerly Takeo's) was closer, ( I live in Rosamond, Lancaster would be nice for them), I would never try any other sushi place. I give this about a 3 1/2 star overall. It's good, but not terrific.Oh, and I thought it WAS pricey, the rainbow roll was $11.50, not great for a tough piece of sushi in it.
