Pizmo Cafe

This place was horrible! They got our order wrong and instead of apologising after we went back to our hotel room opened our box to find that we got veggie pizza with huge florets of broccoli instead of the standard combo we ordered. They said 'well, I thought you said a veggie combo' and said they would give us the combo we ordered IF WE PAY FOR IT! So we would pay twice and get the ONE we ordered. After some further arguement and a lame offer of us ONLY have to pay 1/2 price for the combo. They agreed to give us the pizza we originally ordered at no extra charge. And is was poorly made and not cooked long enough. Can't wait to go back to Pismo beach but never going back to Pizmo Cafe again. Telling all of my friends the same thing,

Visited Pismo Beach for the first time this week and decided to try this place out. Ordered a couple of lunch specials and a couple of glasses of house wine from the menu on the wall. House wine was listed at $4.50 per glass however, when the bill was rung up it came to $7.00 per glass. Owner would not honor the price on the wall - so that gave him an extra $5.00. Wonder how many other patrons he gauges! The food was pretty good, but because of his practices we won't be returning. Also, if you're looking for him to offer a "thanks for your business" or even a smile, you won't get that from him either. I'd take my business down the way to the crepes restaurant (Mon Ami). Excellent, reasonably priced and the owner, Scott, is not only friendly but goes above and beyond.

Very good pizza. Convenient location if staying in downtown Pismo. Would definitely eat there again.
