Best food around. Not just chinese, a mixture of american, japanese, mexican, and seafood!! Simply the BEST!! Tony is a GREAT waiter!!!
I kept driving past this place and hadnt gone in untill i was out shopping with my mother. we were impressed with how well lite and clean the place looked. presentation definatly got a 95%! they have a nice spread and a good range of variety from some southern foods (for your picky eaters) alot of the food seen in most chinese buffets and a few diffrent dishes you rarley see. they also had a full ice cream bar and full fruit bar and a competly separate sushi bar. my mother had issues with the sushi bar because you had to place your order with them, wait what seemed a while to be waiting on sushi and the first time she asked for a salmon roll she got salmon sashimi so the chef seemed to be alittle confused and slow. other than that we had a good experince and plan on going back. we went during lunch and drank water and ended up paying 19 bucks or so, so all in all not bad!
This use to be one of my favor place to go...
especially when you looking for cheap seafood...
Here comes my story,
on 04/12/2009....
I went there w/ my boyfriend around late 5pm..paying for the dinner price...
I was looking for raw oyster and crab legs...
of course, they both are out...
nothing on the buffet table..
there are 4 people line up waiting for the crab legs...
While I'm eating my first plate, I asked waiter to see when are they going to open those raw oysters again..
He went in...there is an other employee starts open oysters for less than 5 mins...
of course, by the time when we get up looking for oyster..it's all gone...
I haven't see anyone re-start opening oyster
while we waiting for the oyster... again..
all crab legs are gone.....
refill coming extremely slow.........
so, I went to the boss "Frank" for the lack of food on the buffet table.... he sent one of the girl back to the kitchen...
5 mins later....
I really found nothing I would like to eat....
Plus, I don't see anyone working on my oyster at all...
I don't want to waste my entire evening in this restaurant. So I asked waiter to give me my bill and start complaining to them about my situation...& I'm not intersting to pay something that I didn't get @ dinner manu...
Here is what the waiter said "there is nothing to do with me (talking about slow refill on the food), You need to talk to the manager". First of all, he answered with an attitude... Second, CUSTOMER FIRST!!
God! I was a waitress 5 years ago. I know "customer always right"
(But I guess it didn't apply to CHINESE restaurant.. by the way, I'm Chinese too)
So, I went to the boss, FRANK, this is what he said:"If you ask us nicely, we will do it.." So, I told him, I already asked twice.. NICELY... but there is no result..and now he claims.. They open oysters in the back... (That is totally FASLE, this is not the first time I come to this restaurant.. don't lie)....
Now, he starts to explain about the crab leg..
Here is exactly what he said, "It taks time to cook it too.., you can't expect us to bring it right out when you ask for..., we only bring it out when we want to.......)
This is getting me really upset...
of course, this is part of may fault..
I should never expect to get good food/services when paying cheap..
NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE TO GO THIS RESATURANT UNLESS U HAVE PLANTY TIME TO WAIT FOR FOOD.. AND BEG FOR FOOD THAT U PAID FOR
