User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsTHIS is the place to go for BBQ in the Troy area. Forget Country's, whose food is hard as a rock and terrible, Hook's has a nicer restaurant to eat inside and the food is GREAT! That coming from someone who usually doesn't like bbq a whole lot. Their bbq baked potato, brunswick stew, bbq plate, etc. are all excellent, and the people are friendly as well. They have a pick-up window also, which was always a good convenience.

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat for a quick bite or take out.: I love this place! Walk-in, order, and in a few minutes your meal is ready to eat-in or take-out. I must confess that I can't seem to get past the bbq potato. The size of a football (well maybe not that big) but my wife and I can order one, share it, and still have left-over. It's convenient, close to the wife's favorite store (Walmart), and the food is really good - I think. I'm really gonna have to try something other than the potato next time in.
