User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsSarah Devine MD: I have only lived in Iowa for 5 years. I think Dr. Devine is the best. She makes you feel like you are the only patient in the office when she is with you. She is patient, personable and thorough. It's like going to see a friend instead of your doctor. I have recommended Dr. Devine to many people, and I will continue to do so.

i was there in 2004,and she is the best dr. ever.: i love sarah devine, she is dedicated to the people,and not out for the money.
she has an outgoing personality,and has a great bedside manner, i am moving back to harlan iowa,from asheville nc. and cant wait till i move back and c here again.

While Dr. Devine has a very pleasant manner, I have found that she doesnât always prescribe the best medications. Harlan has a large geriatric population and these patients require special considerations. Ask her if she is familiar with the Beers Criteria (Archives of Internal Medicine. 2003;163:2716-2724). If you are older than 65 and she says no, find a doctor who is. Can make the world of difference.
