The owner of the club, Shawn Brown is a country music buff, which is why the club primarily plays country music. The menu remains faithful to the name of the restaurant-'Whiskey Tango', with its special Tango Burgers, Whiskey Chips, Whiskey Beans, and all things Whiskey! Although the club follows a dress code, it has a number of people flocking in each day, who simply can't resist being drawn to the dance floor. |

User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsHave never been there before.Went there on July 11 09. the music was way way to loud and a terrible sound system The drinks were poorly mixed and mostly ICE! And the drink prices were OVERPRICED!! You could not get a waitress to get you anything.If you didnt go to the bar yourself you didnt get any service.You have to stand because most of the seating was taken or they just dont have any. The parking lot was a mudhole!This place is a Dive and I would tell everyone to go somewhere else.A BIG FAT RIPP OFF!!!! The management should be ashamed of themselves.Maybe they should layoff some of those security people whom are mostly hitting on the girls there and put more into customer service and teaching the waitresses and bartenders how to do a better job.Your place sucks!!
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsA country Honky Tonk like a Honky Tonk should be.: When we first took off to Grain Valley to check out this club I was a little worried. That quickly changed once we walked through the doors. The music was country, the bar was country and the people for the most part friendly and having a great time. The size of Tango's allows for alot of people without without feeling crowded and cramped. The dance floor was always full but now so full you kept running into people while you stepped. It will be a regular spot for me. What more to say. Oh! A great place to shoot a little stick. Check it out.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsGREAT! Compare to Cowboys 2000 in Spgfd!!: Great place, lots of open space Loved the music, dancing and pool. Didnt try the food, maybe next time. Drinks were small for the price compared to others. But over all the bar ive been looking for in KC. Will definatly return.
