Do yourself a favor - go to Matt's. What an amazing place with an amazing menu. You will not be disappointed. The service is always friendly and engaging.
This is a great place for business dinners, dates, or adult gatherings. Children may have a difficult time finding something. Seriously, go. It is probably the best restaurant in New Jersey.
Expensive for the quality of food, maybe a 5 out of 10 at best. Steaks were overcooked and cuts of meat were not great. I have had comparable steaks at mid-level chains like Longhorn. I was hoping for Capital Grill or Morton's caliber and the price is Morton's, but the food is not. Service was good, but the restaurant is small and a little noisy. Also it's BYOB so bring your own wine
I think Matt's is one of the best restaurants in the area. We go there about once every other month. When I have business travelers in town, we head to Matt's. Great steaks, awesome staff, and great appetizers. It is BYOB - don't forget the wine. If you can, try to get upstairs if you wnat it a bit quieter. Downstairs is nice, but a bit louder due to the grill being right there. Highly recommend.
