Nice atmosphere/decor: swanky is almost the right word. Plenty of flash but also substance: the food is quite good too. Inside the Bryant Park hotel.
Yes, very California but belongs here too: I don't eat fish (the wife gorges on sushi tho), so I found the Kobe filet mignon and it was possibly the best piece of meat my carnivorious jaws have masticated. Worth every exorbitant penny. If you like the nouveau-asian swank-look and the pricey exotic and not exactly large portions, give it a shot. Hit the Cellar Bar afterwards for some $15 cocktails.
Beautiful people for lunch: Spicy tuna is excellent.
