5 years ago; 6 months prior to my FIRST child's birth; I decided it was time to find the "Best" Pediatrician I could find for my little one. So after reading all the books on what steps to prepare for prior "interviewing" a doctor; I set off on my course. I did not even know you could do such a thing...you know Pre-interview Dr's for your unborn child. I decided to take a survey of all the mom's I knew & asked who their pediatrican was as well as how they felt about the Dr., staff, clinic itself. I recieved many responses back.

However, 2 stood out above all, and that was Dr. Lucy Ryan & the other was Dr. Bottenfield. I interviewed both. It was very interesting & both of them were very kind.

I chose Dr. Lucy Ryan because of her knowledge, her character, her staff, as well as the way her clinic is set up. Well visits have their own section in the back & ill children in the front. Love her aquarium set up as does my son (he is now 4 1/2).
Other factors for choosing her was the fact that she understood "old remedies" and could explain the reasons that they were effective or just plain ineffective. She is also bi-lingual; and sometimes my "Tex-mex" just comes out & she get's it. Love it!

Ooooh, and added bonus that I really enjoy is her knowledgeable staff of nurses; I can call & discuss anything related to my child & they will assist me right over the phone. Or ask me to come in if they feel the matter is more serious.

As a whole, they are always very helpful & even when my child receives his immunizations they try their very best to calm my son (& believe me, that is not easy). By the time we are done, not only does he need a lolipop; so does mommy! Whew!

I hope this review has helped you, I encourage anyone who has or for that matter has not enjoyed Dr. Ryan's service submit a review. I would have liked to have something like this 5 years ago!

Great Doctor and staff. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Easy to work with when making appointments. She is both of my children's pediatrician.

good doctor: good doctor and great assistants as well. Her entire crew of workers are friendly and professional down to the receptionist.. and not a long wait time either
