While this place is convienently located and quick to perform service, I'll never use their services again, and suggest you save yourself the hassle. The staff lies to get out of work! A simple we don't work after 530pm would have sufficed. Here's what happened to me:I dropped off my car for an oil change and inspection (4pm friday), and upon returning, was told that it was almost completely out of break fluid (DOT4 which they do not carry) and that the inspector had nearly hit someone with my car, pulling it through the parking lot, because he couldn't stop it. Because of this he deemed my car too dangerous to inspect in its "condition," funny I recieved no phone call to say this prior to arriving (to pick up at 5:15pm). My husband and I were then advised to go get break fluid immediately and led to believe that the car would be filled and inspected upon our return. We gladly drove to get the fluid (having been assured that the vehicle was extremely dangerous and shouldn't be driven without it) but were confused because the vehicle had not shown any signs of break problems during the 36 miles to or from work that day in stop and go up to 70 mph traffic nor had we seen any leaks on the gargae floor where I park every night. When we returned, the shop owner proceeded to tell me that they could not inspect the vehicle, even with the fluid, because it would have to work its way through the lines. Of course, I then noted that I had no difficulty driving to work and back and had noticed no leaks. She then replied that break problems just happen all of the sudden (apparently the minute pull in for an inspection; how convenient for the employee who wants to leave at 5:30pm on a friday night). At this point my husband, who had popped the hood to take a look while I was talking to the owner, noticed that the cylinder was completely full of break fluid; what a suprise. This sent the shop owner looking for the inspector; who as it turned out had not even opened it to look, just assumed, that I was out. I then told the owner that I would have appreciated knowing all of this this before being sent to buy fluid and asked again about the inspection. To this inquiry the owner replied that she could not make her employee inspect my vehicle because he was registered by the state and he said that there was "something wrong with my breaks". The story certainly evolved from the initial your vehicle is too dangerous to be driven and is completely out of break fluid to there's something wrong with your breaks. Of course we then asked exactly what does he say is wrong and can we ask him about it; of course we were told no and that "if he sais there's something wrong that's it." After the final exchange we tested the breaks ourselves to find that nothing was wrong. Immediately following this ordeal I drove down the street to the nearest Jiffy Lube and was passed by the inspector in less than hr. FYI same price: my advice save yourself the hassle and work with real professionals.Â
Very good service - and fast: Very good place, kind people and fast service. Prices are average and they actually checked my car's fluids. Thanks.
