Let's start off saying I love my city.
    San Antonio is Great!

Rainforest cafe,,, It's great for the kids.
The food is Ok. NOT GREAT!... THEY could do better for the prices ON THAT MENU..

    The gift shop ROCKS!
The drinks are great as well..

THE RAINSTORMS A PLUS,flickering lights, animals acting about, all in all the place looks great....

DON'T GET ME WRONG THEY have a few dishes on the menu that are pretty good... THAT IS WHY we go back..

    Living here has it's perks....

Parking is not a problem for us.

GREAT restaurant!!!! We will DEFINITELY be back. I took my wife there for her birthday. She had the catfish dinner, and I had the fish & chips: both were excellent. My best man joined us as well and also had a great time. The 3 of us shared a Volcano and that was delicious. We sat right in front of the elephant.

The only downside to it is parking. It's located on San Antonio's beautiful Riverwalk (to my mind one of the most gorgeous places on Earth). I recommend you park at the Rivercenter Mall and walk to the restaurant: it's not too far, but I would have preferred being able to park at the restaurant itself. (By the way, if you do that and get lost on the way, stop and ask one of the friendly city guides you will run into. They are VERY nice and will point you in the right direction.)

Also if you can, on the way back, watch for the horse-driven carriages taking people all around downtown. At night they're all lit up and VERY pretty.

We loved eating here. The atmosphere was fantastic, and my son loved the thunderstorms and when all the animals would start moving. Have to get the volcano...it's a must if you choose to eat here!
