Charlie Dyches Power Sports

I purchased a 2008 Scooter 250 cc. on March 17th from Sky Power in Hudson, which is abot 70 miles from Lakeland where I live. I went down to Charlie Dyches on April 11th to have him fix my starter switch. He asked in a upset voice "Where did I buy the scooter? I told him. Then he asked," Where did I live? I told hm in Lakeland. He said" Why did'nt you buy it from me?? I said that Hudson gave us a great deal. He said to bring it back on
Tuesday. I then brought it back on Wednesday April 15th. I said I am back for you to look at my starter switch. He just stood ther and said, "I am sorry I cannot work on your bike, you will have to take it back to Hudson. I then asked him," but this is a Hyosung dealership, I thought you worked on Hyosungs, even if they are not purchased from you? He just repeated himself and told me to take it back to Hudson. I got back on my bike, drove home and called Hudson. The sales man told me Charlie is MAD because I did not purchase it from him, and he is just punishing me. I am going to contact Hyosung USA and file a compliant against Charlie Dyches today. His attitude and owner of a business sucked!!! I thought I had it made living only 4 miles from a Hyosung dealership that could do any repairs that I might need. Boy was I wrong!!! You would think with the economy and everything that he would want to make a little money off the hourly labor from working on my bike, instead of cutting his nose off to spite his face, because I did not buy the bike from him. Oh well, Anyone out there that wants a Hyosung, DON'T go to Charlie. He only has one mechanic, that works part time, and Charlie's main intrest is his "Lawn Service Business", anyway.

after buying a brand new flyscooter il bello 150 from charlie a few weeks ago i was initially very happy, until i looked the scooter over and started riding. there are multiple cosmetic problems, bolts missing, the front brake pads are rubbing and the whole scooter has begun to vibrate violently when riding. nothing has been done yet to fix these problems. even something as simple as getting my oil changed was a hassle, since the single mechanic there is always gone, so i ended up changing it myself.
the accessories i ordered about three ago still haven't arrived and charlie never seems to know where they are. actually i remember a conversation i had with him about his dealership where he mentioned that selling bikes isn't even his main business, it's LANDSCAPING. so i suppose i've just been put in the back of his mind.
overall, the customer service is lacking tremendously, charlie doesn't seem very knowledgeable about the products he sells, and my *new* scooter was in very poor condition. this leaves me wondering if the standard pre dealer inspection was even performed at all.
if you're in the market for a reliable scooter and reliable dealer, steer clear of charlie dyches.
