    Year after year we make several visits to the Old Pier House Resturant when we visit Kure Beach for some good fishing and relaxation. We found excellent tasting food with friendly service at a reasonable price. We try to get their early and beat the crowd but when we don't it is worth the wait. I would not visit Kure Beach without making a visit to this resturant.

    We waited a really long time for our call in order, then they got our order wrong, also the food is way over priced, so my advice would be go to the local subway!

    Eat here instead of Jack Mackeral's or Big Daddy's... it seems like the same food for a better price. Highly recommend the Reuben and the hushpuppies. Also a great breakfast place. Definitely need to be in the mindset for fried food though. Wait staff are very attentive and fun to talk to.
