Having seen the new owner and chef on the local TV morning show- thought I'd give 'em a try. Had to have the Sweet Corn Cake Carnitas they made on the show- WOW! My partner in life is a real foodie and she just kept putting pieces in her mouth and smiling- almost laughing. We've been by a few more times and have always had a pleasurable experience. On nice days you can sit in the patio area out front and watch the sunset over Pewaukee Lake- very few places like that in the Milwaukee suburbs. The music is always tasteful. Crowds are fun but not too wasted and dancing is better done early because the place van be very well attended in the summer (that's why we love the winter nights there too!).
As for the "little girl had to pee" complaint- I see that it's dated just after the "Taste of Pewaukee" event that is nice during the day but generally draws a lower end crowd from the countryside who take great pleasure in loud/rudeness in the evening. My guess is there's more to that story.
Tried lunch there, great place to take clients.
Tried the piano blu burger.Really great, nice
place, great views. I'll be back.
We go all of the time. We LOVE the food, the atmosphere, the service and the music. It's perfect for a quiet dinner with my husband, or bringing our young kids and letting them dance, or for a rowdy girls night out. It's all good!!!!

Dear Love to eat...the little girl who had to pee story was not the "Taste of Pewaukee" event. It happened in early July and do not put loud/rudeness with this story! It was just a Saturday night-10 people in the whole place.Early evening hours...don't make comments about my story if you don't know what happened! I know I sound very angry about this- becuase I am...but if you had a child and your "partner in life" was insulted and accused, you probably would be upset too.
