I went in to this best buy looking for a wireless router for my pc. Well they were way over priced so I went to Walmart and got it cheaper. Well then I needed something else for the wireless router, and Walmart didn't have it so I went back to Best Buy, and the guy helping us said they must not have it, well after he walked off my husband and I stood there kinda bummed, but right behind where he had been standing was the USB for the router!!! Great help huh? Not only are they over priced, but their employee's don't know what the heck they are doing.
Bought a computer at one best buy and had problems with it 1 month later. Took it to the Geek Squad and they told me on 2 occasions the cpu was sent to HP. Each time I contacted HP, they did not have the unit. After 2 weeks the Geek Squad found it in the back of their Geek room. They told me they would make sure it was sent to HP, same story I was told 2 times before. The manager of the store blamed me for the situation. I now go to that store understanding if I purchase at this store, I will get no customer support. I will be lied to, and ultimately blamed for any problems. The management is worthless in terms of problem resolution in situations such as the above.
Bought a camera, three weeks later access door for batteries broke. They blamed it on me and told me I was on my own. I called every best buy customer service number there is. I got no satisfaction. As they stick the receipt in your bag you are forgotten. Customer Service is not an option with this company. Search the web you'll see it's true. Not just in Jacksonville but everywhere. Steer clear of them. I will never walk through their doors again! PROMISE!
