This place was really good when it opened but the food got progressively worse through the months. Crab legs got smaller and smaller, and it just turned into another chinese buffet with steam table food that had no taste. The staff is friendly but you go there for the food not the waiter (since it's a buffet) they need to get it back the way it was or they will got the way of a lot of other eating places, they will bite the dust.
Since opening a few years ago it has gone downhill. Food is over-cooked and while it is a buffet today we waited 15 min for crab legs and walked out when they still didn't come out of kitchen. It doesn't even take 15 min. to steam the legs so not sure what their problem was. In this day of the poor economy most businesses should be clawing for our business but this one didn't care. I told owner & he laughed, then apologized. I will not go back. Mrs. Chen's on trail is better & will get our business.
Grand China Buffet: when this restaurant first opened, it was great.....we just ordered from them today...EVERYTHING was AWFUL....specifically asked for crispy wings, but not overdone....didn't want them rubbery...they were rubbery....NO FLAVOR to food at all...shrimp fried rice smelled and tasted bad...had to throw out...NEVER beef teriaki strips on a Sunday. Krab Rangoon is awful and basically is a wonton wrapper with a skim coat of cream cheese and sugar on it....will never go there again!!! RUINED our splurge for the week!!
