I ran into this place by accident and it was the best part of my day. I had the crawfish bisque and the mussels with angel hair pasta. My coworker had the loaded potato soup and the pork tenderloin with wild mushroom gravy--he ate every bit. The bread was amazing too. I saw three of the desserts go by--they all looked fabulous. The place has original art work all over the place and a nice wine list. It has the atmosphere of a tasteful restaurant, upscale for the area but not pretentious at all. Nice place to take out of town guests. All of the seafood comes in fresh daily. It wasn't overly crowded for a Sat. lunch and we would have been happy with anyone of the choices on the menu. They have a nice wine list too. I plan on going back very often because the food is all very fresh and impeccable prepared. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned although the portions really are bigger than they need to be. This place is wonderful and you would do well to go out of your way to find it! I am so happy with the owner/chefs style and she learned so much of it from her mother. Excellent restaurant for lunch or dinner.
We love this wonderful quaint restaurant! Cassandra the owner is an incredible cook. Personable, Friendly and Precious. If you haven't had a meal at the Old Cuevas Bistro, you are truly missing out on a great experience. The Old Cuevas Bistro just re-opened from the storm which played havoc on the restaurant. I'm so happy Cassandra re-opened. Friends, Kathy and Richard, Armstrong Spas and Hot Tubs
