Nothing Better than the Mari Time...: This restaurant can easily be missed when traveling the one way streets of Redding; even the front door is not that obvious. What makes this place unique in its amazingly simple design, It is that the simplicity of the décor gives you intimacy without feeling alone or cramped. I liked how it allows you focus on your food and your company. The meal presentation is fabulous and the taste is absolutely amazing.
The Mari Time Grill has set the Bar so high, I doubt anywhere in the North state can compare.

Yummy: Seriously the best place in town!
Emeril Lagasse, watch out!: I do believe this was the best meal I've ever had, bar none.
Chef Song served the best tasting, unique, dishes, that were presented in a stunningly artistic fashion. I wanted to photograph each course before I had to ruin the design to eat it.
The interior design of the place is slick, smooth, polished and well thought out. It oozes class. I was amazed to find out the designer was the owner, Chef Song himself!
At first glance, the prices may seem a little steep. The kind of place you'd save for a special occassion. But after the meal was over I found myself thinking of the old saying, "You get what you pay for." In that light, this place is truely a value.
I have learned that Mr. Song also has a restaurant in San Francisco. Next trip down, I will most certainly search it out for a try.
Bravo Mr. Song.
