User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsMy husband received a gift certificate to Meriwethers as a going away gift from his company. The gift certificate was purchased with a receipt of purchase for $150 and because Meriwethers is located in the state we were moving to we were told to pick up the certificate at the restaurant - Meriwethers didn't mail it to us. I contacted Meriwethers several months after the purchase (there was no expiration date on the certificate receipt) because we were still in the process of moving into the area and I was told to wait until the weather was nice to try the restaurant when we could enjoy their outdoor dining. When I called to make a reservation I confirmed their location and mentioned we had a certificate receipt and wanted to confirm the amount. They had no record of the purchase on their end and therefore would not honor the purchase. I later faxed the dated letter of purchase which had the name of the individual whom the purchase was made through, and still this certificate was not honored. I feel the customer service at this establishment was less than adequate. I would not do business with the restaurant in good Wether or bad Wether. This is no Nordstroms of restaurants!!
