Our first visit. We will come back. In fact, we can't wait to come back. It was my birthday. The best experience I've ever had in my 54 years with a birthday dinner. The food was so fresh and so splendidly prepared. We loved the atmosphere.... clean, fresh and minimal with the friendliest and most professional service. If I had to say anything remotely negative it would be the music (piped in, not live) which was Pop 60's, 70's, 80's & 90's. I think some light jazz, instrumental light string trio or chamber music might have been more appropriate although I did enjoy "At Last". Anyway, a definite 15 on a scale between 0-10.

Amazing dining experience from beginning to end.My husband, 4 year old and I came into Statesville for dinner last night. While at first glance I saw no kid menu, I was assured the chef would do what ever we wanted and boy did he. I ordered a vegetarian dish(the menu invited you to "test" the chef with veg requests). My little angel had the most memorable grilled cheese ever with a creamy tomato soup also not soon to be forgotten. My veg dish was beautiful, imaginative and TASTY.(Not to mention he could have charged what ever he wanted, and my dish was well worth it at $11) My husband could not stop raving about his salmon and spinach (My husband doesn't eat spinach, now that's good.) The banana pudding should have its own name, it will blow away your idea of banana pudding. Beautiful decor, great, helpful and accomadating service. We had an appitizer meals for 3 and dessert, our bill was just under $50. The lunch menu they showed us was very impressive, $6-8 entrees, unique, fresh choices. Did I mention they use LOCAL FOODS and WINE. What better way to spend your time and money? I will drive the almost hour to eat there again and again guaranteed, I hope to see you there too.

I love this place, so laid back and artfully decorated.I visited this place for lunch. The food was light and fulfilling and so was the service.
