What a great place! Awesome art everywhere, great coffee and tea, and awesome sandwiches! Plus the people there are great!
Well, I hate to admit it, but this is probably the best coffee shop in Milwaukee. It really does have exceptional sandwichs and you have to try a drink with the Vanilla Bean sauce, which they make fresh in the store. The atmosphere is laid back and the staff friendly in the extreme. The only thing that sucks is the napkins- too thin. I should probably blame the napkin company for that tho...
Having visited many new and well-established cafes on The East Side, The Last Drop Coffee Shoppe has managed to snag and retain my patronage for better than 4 months! This is due to many factors: 1- convenient location: right on the corner of a busy intersection, not far from a noted university (UWM) . 2- Well above- average accomodations: comfortable seating (couches, as well as tables); quiet, sanitary, non-smoking atmosphere; decor that is both visually appealing and humourous; Wi-Fi access; a huge flat-screen TV w/ cable access (Packer fans will appreciate that they'll be able to see the game here every Sunday during the season). 3- Great products & deals on coffee: I'd choose 'em over the more commercial joints any given day. 4- Very personable management/owner & staff: this is what really keeps me coming back, as their level of care & professionalism fosters a sense of community that many of its' competitors often over-look since the bottom line is making a profit (nothing wrong with that, though indifference in service will likely affect the volume of clients.) They're basically the new kids on the block, so all the better to try Last Drop at least once! If one is good to The Last Drop, it's sure to be good to & for you!!
