Very very overpriced. Almost a half again more than Colton's and not nearly as better a steak - though it is marginally better so if money is no issue...
The glazed pork is your best bet but at ~$13 I'll make my own thank you very much.
It's also very loud if they have any kind of crowd at all; so not always good for that "romantic" date feel. (Not that anywhere else in searcy is though)
This place has really gone down in the 2 years I've lived in Searcy. The first time I went, it was fab!!!! I couldn't believe there was a place like that in Searcy. The last 4 times, including the work Christmas party in 2008, have sucked! The food quality has gone from inconsistant to consistantly substandard. The steak was "aged" more than it should have been-the owner didn't finish his. The baked potatoes were not good according to everyone who had one. Doc's lunch specials are a joke. Who has $12-$15 lunch specials? For a piece of fish and a side? Come on. Lately they are out of items when we have ordered. I do have to say the service has been excellent 99% of the time. The atmosphere is great! This is supposed to be a "steak house" so I don't expect to see iceburg lettuce in my salad and I don't expect Pace Picante if I order salsa. But it doesn't matter because I don't plan on going again.
The food was ok. Wouldn't be considered one of my favorites. They just need to learn how to season their steaks. But other than that I would return, but not my first choice.
