A very disappointing place. The owner used to run an awesome restaurant on the other side of town and it was great ... but this place is mediocre at best. Overpriced and fair quality ... avoid it unless you are desparate.

I agree, plus the bouncers can hurt you and no one cares.Im a female and no guy should ever physically hurt a woman, never put your hands on a woman,if shes bothering you ... tell her-dont touch her.

Excellent food without the hoity-toity atmosphere: Hubby and I went on a dinner date last Saturday to the Lumberyard Grille -- the first time we'd been there. The prime rib was fabulous! Hubby had a delmonico with bleu cheese and pepper strips. A little too much bleu cheese, but otherwise delicious. And be sure to order the portabella mushroom cap: loaded with shrimp, scallops, stuffing and sauce! Delicious! All the food was good: Steaks cooked just right, generous portions of garlic bread, soft breadsticks and fresh salads. The service was great too -- she was attentive and competent. The atmosphere was alright, though not something for young children or a romantic evening. The music was a little too loud, and the dining room a little too dim, but otherwise it was okay. The decor is rustic, and each table has it's own tiny, shaded lamp. The place was clean and comfortable. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a five-star meal without having to put up with a stuffy, hoity-toity atmosphere.
