   I love the Pie Pizzeria, however our visit on New Years Day was AWFUL. I called in a pizza to pick up, I arrive on schedule, and the pizza order was lost or not made, never did get a straight answer, so after confirming my order again, I waited over an hour and a half for my pizza, that they gave to someone else with the same name!....keep in mind I found this out about 10 minutes after I checked on the status of the pizza and found out it would be ready in a couple minutes!!! Yes I know it was a holiday, but the staff response was that they didn't schedule enough people to cover the crowd cuz the manager/scheduler didn't think they would be busy. While I was there, there were so many customers leaving without pizzas it was sad.....Hope they plan next year...cuz SJ is only getting bigger! I am going to order a pizza now, so we will see if anything changes. All the other locations have had excellent service!

   The pizza is delicious, it does come with a lot of topping and lot of cheese and we love especially the thin crust pizza. The restaurant has a great environment, laid back and cozy especially by the fireplace, we love it there.
   I ordered pizza from them once, it took a while to arrive but within a reasonable time frame compared to other places we've ordered from before, but they brought the pizza with 'thick' crust instead of the thin we had ordered...
   On the first day of the year, we took our family there for dining, and we waited more than one hour for the pizzas to arrive because the cashier told us they were caught short-handed and were not expecting such a busy night. The house was packed and everyone was complaining and starving.
   
   Otherwise, everytime we go there we have fast service, the pizza is always ready in 5-10 minutes and food is always great.

   Aside from the delivery service, which seems to be the major complaint (Why are people so lazy these days ...) The food is good. A bit pricey for what it is, but still good. Yes, they have a reputation for it ... so waits can be long, but as with anything you find good, sometimes you do have to wait for it. Just plan for that fact, and you will be fine.
