I do not know how they cook the meat but it was very bland, with not flavor at all. Even my wife who is not a huge BBQ person noticed this. Also they had a really limited sauce selection with nothing really hot or spicey. The salad was good
Great food. Amazing staff, and willing to be very flexible for groups. Honey stung chicken sanwich is my favorite. Great environment with fun attractive people.
I AM BIASED--growing up in Texas this is BADWOOD BBQ. Any place (no matter where you are in the country--NOT just Texas) the has the audacity to promote that they use WOOD (hence Goodwood's name) to smoke and cook their food, should ACTUALLY taste like smoked food. Brisket and Pork if smoked correctly should have what is called a Smoke Ring (a pink ring around the edge of the meat) that ensures the meat has actually been smoked over a low heat for a long period of time. The only thing i thought was good were the Onion Rings--but as for the BBQ, it is nothing like it boasts that it is.
