Good menu selection w/ majority under $10 (including complete dinners; lunch menu is even less). Delicious and ample servings. Excellent value! Each in our party of five ordered different items and were very pleased. Service is good. Nice decor is bright, clean and comfortable. Don't let the outside fool you, as it is located in an older small hotel. This gem is located inside! Ample free parking right in front. Would have gone back for lunch the next day if didn't have to leave town early morning.
A Welcome Spot on a Dreary Airport Restaurant Row: Tucked behind the lobby of a slightly shabby hotel, Happy Teriyaki's Japanese fare offers a welcome respite to the Sea-Tac road warrior weary of International Blvd's boring hotel cuisine and dreary fast food. This cozy and spotless restaurant sits 10 at a sushi bar, and there's a dozen four-tops in the main room. There is a small, moderately-priced selection of skillfully-prepared sushi, while the eponymous teriyaki dominates the kitchen menu (the spicy chicken is especially good), which also includes some katsus and a variety of noodle dishes, as well as some vegetarian and seafood selections and combinations. Sushi comes with miso soup and a small salad, dinners with rice and a salad. A small selection of beer and wine rounds out the offerings. Service is friendly and solicitous; prices are very reasonable. A short stroll from your hotel's front door and you can ban the room service burger, at least for tonight. Accepts credit cards (but not AmEx). Closes at 9pm. A daily lunch special is available.
