I agree with Skyz. Their lobster tails tend to be very chewy and hard to bite pieces off of. I do like their crab legs and their clam chowder, even though it was burnt once in the numerous times I've been. Sometimes the service is a little absent minded missing little details like refilling drinks or requests for more rolls/biscuits. Overall a decent restaurant that is borderline fast food.
Not what it could be: Lobsterfest hey, it sounds good, but be careful what you order. The Asheville restaurant thinks a lobster tail should bounce off the floor, no one told them it's SUPPOSED to be tender. I fear what they would do to a steak.
The cheese biscuits, salads and other foods are still good. The HUGE portions make up for everything being somewhat overpriced. I ordered a 1/2 portion of lobster & crab alfredo and still ended up taking half of my meal home.
Kudos for not having everything breaded and deep fried! Choices are good.
My date ordered what would normally be a piece of chocolate cake with a scoop of ice cream, but Red Lobster style is to serve an ENTIRE cake with a scoop of ice cream. Go chocolate lovers.
The service was ok, our server kept trying to get us to order beer/wine and seemed more interested in the tip than much else. That may have just been because she was just a teenager.
The Gift to My Stomach: I love this place. I love to eat at Red Lobster at least once a week.
