Pursley's Valley Stable is just wonderful. The horses are always in clean dry stalls with pleanty of fresh water and are fed very well. The owners are very knowledgeable about every aspect of owning and running a safe, creative and wonderful stable to board your horse. I would recommend Pursley's Stable to ANYONE who wants excellant care for their horse(s) and it is a wonderful, enjoyble place for you and your horse.
I have boarded a pursley's for 3.5 years and I love it you have horse frieds every ware. I take lessons and Jodi has made me a better ridder I have accomplished a lot more than I have ever had with any one else. They are always trying to make you feel welcome.
Great Place to Board!: Pursley Valley Stables is a smaller barn with an incredibly friendly atmosphere. The best part about the farm is that they are ALWAYS working to improve their area, whether that be adding new conveniences in the barns, improving walkways, or adding and improving the condition of trails. The stalls are always cleaned once a day, with fresh new bedding, and the horses are put on two different schedules to reflect the summer and winter season. The stable is family owned and it reflects this.
Jodi Pursley is a great teacher for lessons for beginners and intermediates, and lessons are always fun for kids or adults. She also throws birthday parties with horse rides!
t is one of the safest, cleanest barns I've ever boarded at. The horses were vaccinated for the herpes virus and the rest of the normal viruses less than 24 hours after the initial outbreak here in Madison earlier this spring/winter at the bigger barns. This barn is also more secluded from the other barns in the area, making an outbreak of any epidemics a smaller risk then a bigger barn in the area! The indoor arena makes it ideal for riding in the winter, as well! I wouldn't board my horse anywhere else!

yes well i have boarded here and i liked it at first and i even worked for her but she kept adding more and more things to our work and she did not do any of the work if I didnt show up she left the horses there untouched not cared for at all!! i would not recomend this barn at alll................
I am in agreement with you. The horses are not fed regularly and the water tanks are often empty. Also owning a barn does not qualify you as a riding instructor. Years and years of experience and consistently learning and taking clinics are what qualify you as an instructor. Jodi and her kids have just enough knowledge to be dangerous. Not enough to be taken seriously as legitimate horse people. Signed- Experienced horse trainer/instructor of 20+ years
