This restaurant is awesome. We have visited there twice recently and have totally enjoyed our meals AND the wait staff is superb. Everyone is kid-friendly and on Sundays two kids eat for free (w/purchase of an adult entree). Portion sizes are huge and everything we've had is quite tasty. One of our new favorites :)

Good service, but so-so food and very small portions.

I ordered the chips/salsa as an appetizer and then the honey BBQ chicken platter with the french fries and veggies.

There was WAY too much salt on the chips, although their salsa was very good. The main dish was a disappointment... The chicken was OK, but a bit dry around the edges. The fries had the same problem as the chips....too much salt drowned out the taste. The steamed veggies had the opposite problem in that they were totally bland.

The main complaint was portion size. I could not believe how paltry the portions were. The chicken breast was probably 2.5 oz. The fries were a bit less than what you'd get in a McDonalds small serving, and the steamed veggies were 1/2 cup at best. All this was served on a huge 14" plate which made the portions appear even smaller.

    A disappointing experience.

We LOVE this place - smoke free dining: Located in the Nittany Mall, which is nice if you are shopping, is one of the best Restaurants in State College. We eat out a LOT and can only recommend a few places in town that are worth going back again and again. This is our favorite! They have a varied menu, attentive wait staff, and great food. I recommend their cranberry, chicken walnut salad. This salad can be counted for WW and L.A.weightloss (give or take). Their drinks are great and inexpensive for Happy Hour. Their hambergers are huge and can be split. So can desserts! Call ahead for reservations on football weekends, or go late. We like to get away from our 4 kids and this is a great spot with atmosphere and peace. But they also have a kids menu and have yummy fun kids drinks. They are very attentive to children too. So, don't be afraid to take the little ones. The smoking area is enclosed in the bar behind glass and you don't notice it unless it's smoky in the bar and you are waiting to be seated. Otherwise this place is smoke free!! Enjoy!
